New Murder City Devils swag!: The Devils played the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin in November and to commemorate the event I designed a limited edition screen printed poster and a new t-shirt. The new stuff went over big down there and went fast. Austin didn't know what hit em, but it was loud!

Abominations!: Halftone did the design for the design for the new School Yard Heroes album out on Stolen Transmission Records. I dressed the singer up like the "Elephant Woman" and got some pretty scary shots. That combined with photos I took of a friends collection of vintage circus oddities and curios made for a fun project with a lot of creepy images and textures.

New Portfolio: Halftone Design is proud to post it's new portfolio online for download. This PDF features work I've done over the last year outside of Halftone as well as some projects not currently shown on the web site. If you're curious to see what I've been up to for the last year, check it out!

OUCH!: Well it looks like the menus at HAVANA were a big hit, so big in fact that they've almost all been stolen! So it was back to the factory for Halftone to crank out some more. I just wrapped up the last batch of these for the bar.
I screen printed quarter inch plywood sheets and bound the covers with canvas. The designs were printed in different color schemes, so each menu was a different boxer match up and color combination ... They're very labor intensive but worth all the work. If you want to check out the menus, and have a great cocktail stop by HAVANA at 1010 East Pike Street in Seattle's Capitol Hill Neighborhood.

Stay On Target: Just wrapped up a branding suite for On Target Media, an internet media marketing company. The suite includes a new logo and word mark, letterhead, envelope, business cards, mailing labels and a style guide for keeping the brand on track as it heads off into the wild blue yonder of the Googleplex. The business cards are printed on 110LB stock and could stick in wall if you threw them hard enough. Thick stuff!

The password is "Class": I just finished working on a promo campaign for a new night at Havana called Hotel / Motel. Those in the know will receive a "Key To Havana", which gets them through the door for free, and when they "check in" they get couple of tickets for something delicious. We made a gold stamped vintage hotel key chain to give out to the lucky few, and a set of posters and postcards for publicity.
